October is Principal's Month, a special time to celebrate and appreciate the hard work and dedication of school principals who play a pivotal role in shaping the educational environment. At Stone, Ms. Feronti Williams stands out as an exceptional leader. Known for her unwavering commitment to student success, Ms. Feronti Williams fosters a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. Her high expectations of both students and staff help to make us all the best we can be. This month, let's take a moment to recognize and thank Ms. Feronti Williams for her tireless efforts in making Stone a great place to work and learn. Please express your gratitude through notes of appreciation, small tokens of thanks, or simply a heartfelt "thank you" to show how much their efforts are valued.

Congratulations to the two outstanding Stone students of the month for September! The 7th grade student is Willie Ray Bland. The 8th grade student s Sarah Vincent. Congratulations to these two amazing students!


Picture Retakes will be October 1. If your student did not take a picture or you paid for pictures and do not like the way they look, then make sure your student knows to retake their picture on October 2. See attached flyer for details.


Soccer Tryouts for Stone will begin Monday, October 14. Students must have all required paperwork and a physical turned in before they can try out. Here is a link to the paperwork: https://5il.co/2edhy . Please contact Coach Disang for more information.


Congratulations to Stone's eSports Fortnite team for their win today against a team in Sandusky California! Their record at this point is 2–0! Great job guys!



Stone will be doing the Jeremiah's Italian Ice fundraiser again, this year, on select Fridays. Please see image for details.


Tomorrow, Friday, September 27, all schools and offices will be open, including after-school activities.The district will continue to monitor the storm’s progress and work closely with emergency management and other local agencies, and we will update families if anything changes.


On Wed., Sept. 18th the Aerospace Club competed in the regional run offs of the Student Astronaut Challenge. There were over 27 teams participating in their division. Their efforts were noticed as they are advancing and will compete in the national competition at KSC in February!


Ms. Cook's Spanish classes participated in a virtual reality field trip to Spanish speaking countries around the globe as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.


The home game is still on for tonight. It is alumni and 8th grade night. School is closed tomorrow, Thursday, 9/26. Currently, the plan is to have school on Friday. Keep your eye on social media, text messages, emails and our website for updates.

Great showing by our basketball teams and cheer and dance squads, again tonight! Boys defeated Southwest with the final score of 54 to 41. Don't forget, our final home game is tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 25! Gates open at 5 PM. It is alumni and eighth grade night!
